SUMMARY: Apply principles, methods and procedures to determine communicative functioning within a public Montessori school setting, and to provide supportive services to those students qualifying for special education in the area of communication. 

 

Age Group: Kindergarten and Middle School grades 5 yr olds and 7-9th grade 

Hours: Part-Time, average 10-12 hours per week, including paperwork and IEP meetings 

Caseload: 9-15 students, the number can fluctuate depending on new referrals and IEP qualification. 

 

Requirements: 

Must have Master’s Degree in SLP (or equivalent) and Clinical Competencies (CCC’s) as accredited by the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA)

Must be able to access Enrich and EzEdMed for documentation and IEP Reports (can attend trainings provided by the district) 

receptive/expressive language, fluency, voice, and/or social/pragmatic language ? Provide direct and indirect interventions/therapy to students according to their special education Individualized Education Program (IEPs)
