Children’s House Float Position

 

Summary

 

We are looking for a caring and passionate professional to assist in a Children’s House classroom working with 3, 4, and 5-year-olds under the direction of the Children’s House Director in a Montessori public charter school setting.  This Children’s House float will play a vital role by assisting the classroom with transitions and general daily classroom activities.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and converse. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

 

MENTAL FUNCTIONS

 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly is required to compare, analyze, communicate, evaluate, use interpersonal skills, compile, and negotiate. The employee frequently is required to copy, instruct, compute, and synthesize.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

 

11:00 am - 2:00 pm Monday - Friday

 

Salary-Beginning at $18.00 on up based on experience
